Mac Computers are not immune to Malware!
Many people tell me “I have a Mac and don’t have to worry about Malware”. Well…. those days are over. Actually, they’ve been over for some time but it’s becoming more common lately. Most recently I dealt with the “WeKnow” malware that hijacks your browser (all of them.. Safari, Chrome, Firefox). The malware changes your home page and your search engine, prevents you from changing them and redirects pages when you search and visit sites. It’s a really time killer. And…. very hard to remove. In the last case it was easier to wipe and reinstall the Operating System than find everywhere it embedded itself. Mac users, check out Malware Bytes for Mac!
