Bob McCool – President

After developing some of the earliest Local Area Network systems while with Johns Manville in the mid-1980s, Bob transitioned from purchasing to an IT career. After 6 years With Ernst & Whinney (through their merger to Ernst & Young) as the SE Region IT Director, he moved from Georgia to Colorado in 1994 and worked as a Computer Support Specialist for the City of Boulder, developing and implementing IT solutions for many challenges facing the city.
 
Bob co-founded Ariel Design Group in 1996 with founder Ray Ingraham. In 2006, Bob merged the company with Marshall Information Service, and along with founder, Cam Marshall, deliberately shifted the company from the prevalent “break-fix” IT support model to a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP), one of the first in the area. Cam retired in 2019, and Bob acquired arielMIS, Inc and began doing business as Ariel IT Services (d.b.a)
 
With cyber security threats increasing quickly, Bob embraced the importance of increasing Cybersecurity protection, training and awareness to reduce the risk to our customers. Most recently as AI has taken the industry by storm, we are quickly adapting to its use internally and helping customers develop strategies for the use of AI tools to benefit their organization.
 
Bob and his wife Daryl (owner of d.a.m. Cool Graphics) live in Superior, Colorado. Bob enjoys golf, mountain biking, and working on community art projects led by his wife Daryl.

Andy Bosio – Senior Engineer

Andy uses his 15+ years of experience in IT to lead our project and service teams.  As an IT generalist he’s managed, repaired, and deployed a wide variety of products and services over the years.  This includes migrating and maintaining cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, GSuite), deploying and managing workstation and server infrastructure (VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V), physical and cloud phone systems (Sangoma, Crexendo, 8×8), backup infrastructure (Veeam, Axcient, Datto), and networking equipment and wireless infrastructure (Fortinet, Netgear, Ubiquiti, Cambium).  His focus on collaboration, education, and meeting customer needs is evident in his work at Ariel IT.

Simeon Smit- Engineer

Simeon brings over seven years of hands-on IT Support experience, strengthened by earning the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. He’s especially drawn to the inner workings of Network Engineering and the challenge of optimizing infrastructure. That curiosity carries well beyond the workday, at home, he maintains a personal server lab where he experiments with virtualization, network design, and new technologies. When he finally steps away from the keyboard, Simeon enjoys spending time with his family and unwinding with good music.

Jake Meihls – Engineer 

Jake is a passionate IT enthusiast with a deep love for technology and all things tech-related. He holds both CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications, showcasing his expertise and commitment to the field. With a natural curiosity for how systems work, he enjoys exploring new advancements in technology and continuously expanding his knowledge. In his free time, Jake can be found tinkering with his homelab server, experimenting with different setups and configurations to improve his skills. When he’s not immersed in technology, he loves spending quality time with his family and unwinding with gaming sessions. 

Jeannine Greiner – Business Manager

Jeannine joined Ariel IT in 2025, bringing experience providing operations support for organizations across the software and service‑based industries. Her background includes optimizing workflows, supporting revenue operations, and strengthening cross‑departmental processes to help businesses run efficiently and sustainably. As Business Manager, she works across many facets of the organization, applying her attention to detail and process‑focused approach to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations for clients, partners, and the Ariel IT team. When she’s not working, Jeannine enjoys unwinding with a good book in the Colorado sun.

Nicole Ditzler – Office Coordinator

Nicole has been with Ariel IT since March 2024.  She is our office coordinator and provides administrative support to our organization.  A few areas she provides support include accounts payable, payment collection, inventory management, administrative tasks.  We are proud to be a part of the Green Business Program, and she keeps an eye on all our recycling endeavors. Outside of the office Nicole enjoys spending times with her husband, 2 teenage kids, and 3 dogs. She is often busy attending her kids sport events, reading, watching movies/football, or walking all the dogs.

Sherri Cowhig – Fractional COO

Sherri brings more than 20 years of experience helping organizations turn vision into reality through strong operational foundations, clear strategy, and people-centered leadership. Her background spans business operations, technology, finance, and organizational development, with a particular strength in building structure, improving processes, and helping teams work more effectively together. 

At Ariel IT Services, Sherri partners closely with leadership and staff to strengthen internal operations, align priorities, and support the continued growth of the company. She is known for her thoughtful, data-informed approach, her ability to navigate change, and her commitment to creating clarity and sustainability in complex environments.

When not working Sherri loves a good hockey game, walking her very active dog, and sailing.

Daryl McCool –  Marketing

Daryl joined Ariel IT part-time in 2019 and provides support for event management, marketing and other design work for the company. In addition to working at Ariel IT Services, Daryl is a lifelong artist who loves to work with community and creative projects.  She has spent years in civic engagement, helping to guide the design of local parks and playgrounds, and served for 3 years as Chair of Superior’s Cultural Arts and Public Spaces Committee. She is an avid gardener and rabid recycler who grew up in rural Vermont. In her spare time, she crochets and paints something every chance she gets.
